There is also the chilling knowledge that every bridesmaid must come to terms with. Not only will you have to wear your dress in public for the duration of the ceremony and reception, your picture will be taken hundreds of times. And if the bride is in your family, you may even have to see pictures of yourself wearing ugly bridesmaids dresses because the wedding pictures will become a part of the family album.

Being a bridesmaid is a rite of passage in a woman's life. We all have to wear the bridemaids dresses until one day it is our turn to be the bride. It is then that we can exact revenge by making brides of the past wear the bridesmaids dresses that we pick so that we will look even more lovely in comparison on our special day.
