Adult online personals have become extremely popular in websites in the last few years. They range from your typical online dating sites such as Match.com, Yahoo Personals or eHarmony, to some more shady varieties that are only one or two steps away from being porn sites. Most of the sites today that offer adult online personals are of the latter category, and should be approached with a degree of skepticism, if at all. As a single guy that is not afraid of using 21st Century social interactive platforms to find a date, I've given a number of adult online personals a try over the last few years. The most tempting varieties entice you in with images of dozens and even hundreds of beautiful young women wearing little or even no clothing. These adult personals sites are just shy of porn sites, and I marveled at the sheer numbers of women that appeared to be members. Furthermore, I marveled at their 'profiles', exhibiting naked pictures and saying things that made them sound nothing short of entirely desperate for sex with anyone, as soon as possible. Adding the numbers up from the dozens of these sites just didn't make sense. Are there really hundreds of thousands of attractive, young women out there that just want to have sex with total strangers? Had everything I'd learned about women wanting to be charmed, romanced, and ultimately swept off their feet been a lie? The answer; a resounding no. Don't be fooled by this variety of adult online personals. I've since learned that these sites actually pay women to post profiles, and even send you messages once you join. In order to respond, you have to become a paying member. So in short, these sites are basically scams. The most luck I've had in actually meeting women by way of adult online personals has been through the more G-rated variety of sites. You still have to be an adult to use these sites, so maybe G-rated isn't really what I mean, but there aren't naked women everywhere begging you to come fulfill their wildest fantasies. In fact, if you have discovered an adult online personals site that does not involve nudity and explicitly sexual requests from its members, chances are it's at least an okay site. Popular bulletin board sites, such as Craig's List, have also become a common way of posting and browsing adult online personals. Craig's List has forums for personals of several varieties. The great thing about these kinds of sites is that they are completely free. The bad thing is that it's all text, and there aren't any 'profiles' from members like on sites devoted to adult online personals.
